The template has three sections. The first two work immediately. The third is where your voice comes in.

Writing rules

Sentence structure, hedging, specificity, paragraph length. Rules that eliminate the most obvious AI patterns without making the output feel constrained.

Banned phrases

50+ phrases that instantly signal AI wrote this. "Delve," "leverage," "cutting-edge," engagement bait, and the fatal negation-correction pattern.

Writing samples

Paste 3-5 samples of your pre-AI writing. Claude pattern-matches against these. The more you give, the better the voice match.

## Writing Rules
- Get to the point. No throat-clearing.
- Vary sentence length. Mix short and long.
- When uncertain, say so. Hedging is human.
- Use physical verbs: "sanded down" not "improved"
- Never pad output.

## Banned Phrases
- Delve / Dive into / Unpack
- Leverage / Harness / Utilize
- Game-changer / Cutting-edge
- "This isn't X. This is Y." (FATAL — never use)

A note on writing samples: Use pre-AI writing. If you've been using AI for a while, your recent writing already has AI fingerprints. Go back to 2022 or earlier — Google Docs, sent emails, old Slack threads.
